Just wondering if it would be appropriate to post a great island "dump run" truck for sale under the "Yard Sale" postings or if it is possible for you to create a category more appropriate for Items on Vashon for sale? Or perhaps you'd rather not have such postings? Let me know...
It's awfully disappointing that more Vashon folks are not registered user's on here...Do you advertise in the beachcomber or the loop? Seems I have seen your ad. Maybe a more catchy creative ad or slogan would get folks here. It would seem that once they came...they'd see the benefits right away and register. I registered finally on my 3rd or so visit. Only though because I didn't have time the other times I surfed through. I've enjoyed the little bit of time that I have thus far and it has proven to be quite useful. I like the way the main page is laid out...and have found the links I want and need to be right there. I liked the road conditions category a great deal. Now, if we can just get folks registered and using the site. I used to use the ol' vashoncam site when it was up and running quite a few years ago now...not sure if it still is but if memory serves me right...it was down for awhile then changed. One thing I really liked that they had for a very short time was the cam at the 4way stop in Vashon and one at the Ferry's. I see great benefits for a main...central-hub Vashon forum such as this one and do hope more register. Maybe a partnership with Vashon Be Prepared group would be a way to increase registration...your site seems an obvious resource...making sure Bishop's, Sporty's, the Eagles and any other similar venue...knows they have access to a free forum to post happenings/music. Perhaps you have tried or do or have thought of these things. I just think it is well done site...and a potential great resource to all islanders and non-islanders. Not only for education and information but one that you'd think would lead towards connections that may have not otherwise been made.
Thanks.

Feel free to post whatever you'd like in regards to 'for sale' items, etc. When we get more traffic, we'll start focusing in on things like editorial control, but for now, it's an open forum.
Let me also apologize for not responding sooner. We are a very small team, and as part of SallenGroup, we're doing this on a volunteer level at this point. You bring up some great suggestions regarding marketing, which we're hoping to take to a new level this fall. Look for more publicity about the sites and SallenGroup's mission of Sustainable and Responsible Technology on and for Vashon in the very near future.
Thanks so much for your comments and compliments. We're thrilled to hear you're getting some good use from our efforts.
Yours,
Kris Bates
SallenGroup Secretary

When you are purchasing a desk, you should think about what you will use the desk for. If you will be using a desk for very wow power levelingcasual purposes, you may not need one that is as elaborate or involved. There aion power leveling are a few features that can make life easier.
There are desks which are aion gold intended for use with computers. They can include storage space cheap wow power leveling for a central computing unit, warcraft goldcord control devices and drawers which can buy wow power leveling store and allow access to keyboards. Look for computer desks which place components at ergonomic levels. This means placing the keyboard so that the wrists are in a neutral position and the monitor is at eye level. If you are doing a lot of work this can be a great help.
